A new popular trend is placing wireless baby video monitoring in the baby’s room, so you can check to make sure they’re laying in a safe position, or to capture them having fun all on their own. This also makes for great entertainment when one parent has to spend many hours at work and isn’t around while baby is awake.

Memory cards make it easy to record special moments and delete ones that aren’t multiple times. With VHS recorders in the past, you could only record on the same tape a few times before video quality started to decline.

Advancing technology has also made it easier for modern parents to easily enter baby video and picture contests, that were often reserved in the past for those who could afford the expensive equipment that was needed. Now almost anyone can record and enter a contest online or offline and potentially win cash, baby accessories, free baby food for a year, etc. If you haven’t though of it yet; get out your recorders and/or digital cameras and start capturing those precious moments before they’re gone.
